生活型

形態特徵

A spinescent shrub.
Leaves alternate, persistent or subpersistent, ovate or broadly elliptic, 1–5 cm long, 0.6–3 cm broad, obtusish at apex, rounded or subcordate at base, minutely serrulate along the margins, glabrous, green and shining above, green, glabrous or pubescent in vein axils beneath, the midrib and veins subconspicuous on both surfaces, very slender, the lateral nerves about 5–6 per side; petioles 2–3 mm long, glabrous.
Inflorescences villose-pubescent, usually in paniculate spikes; flowers nearly sessile.
Fruit subglobose, about 5 mm across, purplish black.

分布

台灣 : from seashore to mountain slopes of about 2,000 m in thickets.
世界 : India to China and the Philippines.
